Coastal Cities
Agadir is Morocco's premier beach destination, bustling
during July and August but with 300 days of sunshine you can
enjoy it throughout the year. Colonised by the Portuguese
in the 15th Century, from a modest port after a devastating
earthquake in 1960, it was substantially redeveloped and has
now emerged as an exciting destination. Kids love the variety
of activities available from the trampolines, funfair rides,
camel or donkey rides. How about some surfing? Or delicious
al fresco dining followed by some leisurely sunbathing.
